Hi, as I mentioned, I cannot select another resolution (like it’s greyed out). I also notice that I cannot start the game without connecting it to my external monitor (2560*1440). My laptop has 2880*1800. When I try, I see that the screen tries to change resolution, the open windows change in size and the taskbar shifts, but the game doesn’t open properly. Opening the game window results in the same behavior every time.

game downloaded but when extracting with WINR, it shows errors of corrupt files
Make sure the file was downloaded completely. Use 7zip if still face problem then download the file again.

Extract the file with winrar open support install the setup after installing right click on the game icon choose properties than click compatibility and run in windows 7,8,xp whatever you have and click on 640 multiply 840 mode than click apply

This did not work because there is no folder to rename. ultimately could not play the game!
Its not a folder its a file which needs to be renamed. You will find this in rockstar games folder
