In Icy Tower, the player controls Harold the Homeboy as he tries to climb an infinitely tall tower while doing cool jumps and moves to get a high score and impress his friends in the neighborhood.

Speed is the primary factor in determining Harold’s vertical leap; the faster he runs, the greater his vertical leap will be. This can be used to gain momentum for a series of vertical leaps, the kind of thing that’s needed to string together the combination jumps that earn the highest possible score. This is made more challenging by the fact that the player’s view of the action is constantly being shifted upwards at an ever-increasing rate.

The controls consist of merely the left and right arrow keys and a jump button. You can record your playthroughs and share them with your friends or the world using the online high score feature. Additionally, the game allows for user-made or downloadable custom characters.
