cPanel is a web-based control panel that is used for managing web hosting accounts. The program provides tools that are designed to simplify website administration and management using a graphical interface. The tools allow the user to create, run, and control their website more effectively. You don’t need any advanced technical skills or coding knowledge to use cPanel.
Web-based tasks simplified by cPanel include website editing, setup of email accounts and CDNs, creation of domains, sub-domains, and databases, allocation of space for pages, and managing Cron jobs. How to use cPanel?
cPanel includes multiple modules. Each module has its own set of functions.
1. FILES
This module allows you to manage your website files e.g. index.html page, about.html page, etc. or image files. You can upload files to your server with the help of File Manager with a simple upload button without using FTP client. You can also edit the files in realtime without downloading them. You can also create a backup of your website and download this backup to your computer hard disk.
2. DATABASES
This module allows you to create or manage a MySQL database. You can add a user to a database or delete an existing user with the help of PHPMyAdmin.
3. DOMAINS
This module allows you to create subdomains or add domains to your hosting account. You can also create domain redirects with this module.
4. METRICS
This module allows you to check your site metrics e.g. the number of visitors, bandwidth usage, CPU usage, etc.
5. SOFTWARE
This module allows you to update PHP or other language modules.
6. SECURITY
This module allows you to create SSH account, hotlink protection or IP blocking.
7. EMAIL
This module allows you to create email accounts, email forwarders, autoresponders etc.
8. WEB APPLICATIONS

This module allows you to update contact information in cPanel.
