The recent FC 25 update introduces three significant evolutions: the Tiki Taka+ Evolution as a reward from the Grassroots Legend Rush, the Perfect Winger Evolution, and the New Star Evolution. First, we must discuss the ultimate reward of the Grassroots Legend Rush task – the Golden Tiki Taka+ Evolution. This evolution is quite unique; it doesn’t directly boost a player’s Overall Rating but acts as a flexible “patch”. Its value lies in its versatility, allowing it to be freely combined with other evolutions to cleverly address shortcomings in player Traits or further enhance crucial attributes. Take a standard Vieira card for example; by using the CM Holding++ obtained from the task reward, you can effectively strengthen his capabilities in the CDM position and reinforce his core player role. If you further combine it with Tiki Taka+ and Silver Fox and Long Passer Traits, the final evolution can even add the Arc Breaker and Flair Passer Traits, along with the crucial Defensive Silver Trait. It can be said that the stacking of these three patch Traits results in a qualitative leap for the final evolved version of this card. Therefore, the value provided by the Tiki Taka+ Evolution is very high. You can choose to keep it for subsequent evolutions to compensate for undesirable Gold PlayStyles or directly enhance existing Gold PlayStyles; its applications are very broad. We highly recommend everyone to actively participate in the Grassroots Legend Rush event to secure this valuable evolution reward.
Next, we will focus on analyzing the highly anticipated Perfect Winger Evolution. In my opinion, the highlights of this evolution are mainly threefold. Firstly, and most noticeably for players, is the significant boost to Weak Foot ability. The Perfect Winger Evolution can infinitely upgrade a player’s Weak Foot, meaning we can create many 5-Star Weak Foot or even 5-Star Skill Moves and 5-Star Weak Foot players, greatly enriching team selection and tactical diversity. Secondly, the “Golden Flair” PlayStyle+ given in this evolution is undoubtedly a very good addition and choice for the current winger meta, providing players with more possibilities and fresh experiences on the flanks. Thirdly, and somewhat hidden but crucial, is that the Overall Rating increase for this evolution is relatively small, only two points. Amidst the recent wave of evolutions that often boost ratings by four points, the Perfect Winger Evolution is a breath of fresh air. This smaller increase allows winger players who were originally around 88 OVR to achieve significant strength improvements after evolving, while also reserving ample room for potential future evolutions in the same position.
In terms of player recommendations, for the Winger/Attacking Wing-Back positions, I have selected five excellent cards for everyone. Legend Ribéry can first use Tiki Taka+, then evolve into a Perfect Winger. The evolved stats rival the 730K Centurions Legend version, but with superior Gold and Silver PlayStyles. Rulebreaker Son Heung-min, after evolving, can effectively improve his Dribbling, which is a good choice for tall winger models. Hero Hazard can first use the Tiki Taka+ PlayStyle, then evolve into a Perfect Winger. The evolved strength will surpass his Fantasy FUT Card, offering very high value for money, although slightly inferior to the Winter Wildcards version, it is already a very cost-effective option. If you have a limited budget or want to use your FC 25 Coins more efficiently, then evolving Hero Hazard would be a good investment. If Hudson-Odoi’s base card is the Winter Wildcards version, then he comes with the Finesse Shot Gold PlayStyle and can fully maximize his attributes in this evolution. Thunder Zaha‘s Golden Rocket PlayStyle complements the Golden Flair PlayStyle perfectly. The 3-Star Weak Foot Zaha can have his Weak Foot ability upgraded to become a strong foot after evolution. The core highlight is the PlayStyle combination of Golden Rocket + Golden Flair. Of course, choosing Thunder Zaha is on the premise that you have already completed the Thunder Zaha SBC.
For the CAM/CM, I personally recommend two cards. Hat-Trick Hero Neymar Jr., the Golden Flair PlayStyle+ is simply a match made in heaven for him. After evolving, his Pace and Shooting attributes can be comprehensively improved, and Passing, Physicality, and Aggression can also be effectively enhanced. However, choosing Neymar Jr. for evolution, you need to consider whether you want to keep this base card to wait for a future evolution that may be more suitable for the CM position, focusing on enhancing Passing abilities. Winter Wildcards Gavi‘s 88-rated card, although some players may feel that he already has 99 Dribbling and the Golden Flair PlayStyle is slightly wasteful, please do not forget that this card does not even have the Silver Flair PlayStyle. 99 Dribbling plus Golden Flair is undoubtedly a great boost for a player positioned in midfield, unless you prefer to wait for a Defensive Midfielder Evolution, but rather than expecting a 1.7-meter tall player to improve defensive abilities, amplifying his strengths may be more fun. It is strongly recommended to pair Gavi with CM Holding++, assigning him to the CDM position, which can effectively address several very crucial key points.
In addition to the above two CM recommendations, there are four other cards worth considering. Flashback El Shaarawy, if you have crafted this card before, then you can consider this evolution. Its biggest feature is that it can directly upgrade the 3-Star Weak Foot to 5-Star Weak Foot. Rulebreaker Simons (loan), after evolving, can upgrade his Weak Foot from 2-Star to 5-Star, and his Pace and Shooting attributes can be fully maximized. Grassroots Zaccagni, he already has 92 Pace and Dribbling, plus the Golden Rocket PlayStyle. After evolution, he will have 90 Finishing and 97 Agility. High Composure is a major highlight of this card.
If you have crafted the Left-Sided Gareth Bale card and want to find a Right-Sided card to balance, then the following three cards may meet your needs. Trailblazers Díaz, he already has 94 Pace and the Running Moves PlayStyle+. With this evolution, his overall strength as a winger will be positively enhanced. RTTK Jota and Trailblazers Cole are also good choices. As for Flashback Jota, because his PlayStyles are more inclined towards the ST position, therefore, in comparison, RTTK Jota, who has the Flair and Running Moves PlayStyles, may be more suitable for the winger position.
