6 Biggest PC Games to come out in 2022

Published on December 25, 2021 by admin

What are the most exciting new PC games for 2022? Perhaps you’ve just been paid, and your virtual bank account is bulging, or you want to catch up on the latest PC games because, well, they’re new and shiny, and you fancy a fun night in. If you’re seeking new PC games, you’ll almost certainly never be disappointed. While no new PC games will be released in 2021, 2022 promises to be a huge year.

Despite the latest generation of consoles, the PC remains a distinct gaming platform that may offer unique experiences not seen on other platforms, as well as a location to play multiplatform games at their best. Because of its limitless backlog of games, the PC is a beast of a platform, and there’s just as much to look forward to in 2022 and beyond. We’ve got you covered if you need a cheat sheet for what’s coming up in your PC gaming future, as well as details on why you should be thrilled for each of these upcoming releases.

Dying Life 2

The sequel to Dying Light seems even better than the first. And the original was fantastic—the first Techland zombie parkour game created a lasting impression and was well-received after its first release. Dying Light 2 was initially revealed with a stylish teaser during E3 2018, but details were limited for a long time after that.  First, it was postponed until January 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic was at its peak. It was then pushed back to late 2021 before being pushed back to February 2022.

Starfield

Six years after Fallout 4, Starfield has a lot to prove, but it’s already Bethesda’s first new setting since taking over the Fallout franchise in 2008. We’re keeping our hopes low, but Starfield has been in the works for a while, and Bethesda RPGs, love them or hate them, have a long shelf life. Thanks to PC modders, we’re still living in Skyrim’s world. So maybe the torch will be appropriately passed next November.

Halo Infinite

The Master Chief is finally back, and he’ll be playable on PC right away. Along with the crisp, exhilarating FPS action we’ve come to expect from the Halo games, Halo Infinite adds a few new elements, such as the ability to pull weapons towards you or swoop over to an enemy in the blink of an eye owing to the addition of a grappling hook. As a result, you may have a terrific single-player experience while riding your Mongoose around the stunning open terrain of Zeta-Halo, in addition to the conventional arena-shooter multiplayer mode.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has taken us to various historical places since its start in 2007, including Ancient Greece, Renaissance Italy, and Revolutionary War-era America. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the latest installment, depicts the story of the ninth-century Viking invasion of England through the perspective of history’s most notorious invaders. Despite not adding anything new to the franchise, Valhalla is a beautiful PC game that follows its equally outstanding predecessors, Origins and Odyssey.

Rainbow Six: Extraction

Rainbow Six: Extraction appears to be nearing completion after a few delays. This one is fascinating since it builds on the framework laid in Siege while also introducing a completely new concept. Extraction pits you against a deadly extraterrestrial infection, with a focus on a three-player co-op, rather than competing with other operators. Rainbow Six Parasite was the original name for this game. However, it has since been renamed as it has progressed through production. This spin-off will significantly change the series’ previous entries, focusing on PvE rather than the popular PvP action.

Avowed

Avowed is one of the titles that Obsidian Entertainment has in the works, and it’s intriguing given the studio’s track record. Avowed appears to be Obsidian’s first significant RPG under the Xbox Game Studios banner. Still, all we know about it so far comes from a brief teaser trailer shown off during the Xbox showcase in July 2020, revealing it as a new first-person fantasy RPG set in the Pillars of Eternity universe.
